📍 Location: Sayulita & La Lancha, Nayarit
💼 Position Type: Professional services, on-site
🕒 Schedule: Classes at 8:30 am, 11:30 am, and 2:30 pm, with prep time before and closing tasks afterward
💰 Compensation: Pay-per-service (bi-weekly) for Jr., Senior, and Master Instructors + 10% seasonal completion bonus

Position Overview

WildMex is a young and dynamic company dedicated to sharing the surf lifestyle with both national and international guests. We are looking for passionate, responsible, and professional Surf Instructors to deliver high-quality lessons, ensure guest safety in the water, and care for our equipment.

Our mission is to offer authentic experiences that capture the excitement and essence of surfing—making sure every visitor enjoys this sport in a safe, fun, and inspiring environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach surfing lessons for Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels, including theory, land practice, and in-water techniques.
  • Provide a safe, professional, and personalized experience, assisting with wave-catching and giving tailored advice.
  • Prepare and manage equipment before and after each session, including cleaning and proper storage.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and welcoming way to ensure a positive, motivating experience.
  • Occasionally participate in team meetings to improve service quality and contribute to digital content creation.
  • Follow company policies and represent WildMex values at all times.
  • Manage lesson schedules by reviewing the daily timetable published by the Operations Manager.

Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience as a surf instructor and technical knowledge of wave training.
  • Passionate and committed to teaching.
  • Strong communication skills in Spanish and English to better serve guests.
  • Team player with a consistently positive attitude.
  • Organized and responsible, with the ability to follow schedules and prepare equipment efficiently.
