GloriaWard Household2025-02-24Trustindex verifica que la fuente original de la reseña sea Google. What a great community/business/and service. We had already booked our hotel at a spot they will help you get set up with Los Sueños in Sayulita. From first contact their customer service is above benchmark. Everyone I spoke with was so helpful, kind and seemingly joyful about helping me! We had to make a few adjustments and they were so accommodating. My “adult” son took a two day surfing camp and I booked shuttle rides to enjoy the day at the beach. They really know what they are doing. La Lancha beach is wonderful and true perfect spot for beginner and intermediate surfers. I was able to rent an umbrella, to use at the beach. We have also booked mountain biking which we have not done yet but I peeked and the bikes look great! Don’t hesitate, book your surfing lessons with WildMex. My son’s coach/instructor was Ramon and my son says he was a great coach. Also, they shuttle from San Pancho! Nicole Fiala2025-02-23Trustindex verifica que la fuente original de la reseña sea Google. My 14 year old son had a great experience with his surf instructor Cesar! La Lancha beach was lovely and our whole family would sit and enjoy while my son had his lesson. He learned so much and had a great time. Highly recommend this experience to others! Elizabeth McClean2025-02-20Trustindex verifica que la fuente original de la reseña sea Google. Thank you to the teachers at WildMex for teaching my daughters (ages 5 and 7) to surf! I booked lessons two days in a row (one at La Lancha, the other at Sayulita) and these were they were the highlight of our trip. Next time, I'll be booking for myself too! Jaymee Squires2025-02-05Trustindex verifica que la fuente original de la reseña sea Google. I'm a 50 year old lady, and Ramone had me standing on my board by the end of my first lesson! Paddling out to the waves was the hardest part, but it was totally worth it once you catch that first wave! Thank you WildMex. We had a great time. We came for 7 days with 5 days of surf lessons. The room you set us up at Los Suenos was very nice. We were pleasantly surprised on how clean and well stocked your shops were. Your staff were informative and always on time for our transport to the surf spot. All the staff made us feel like they appreciated us being there. Surf instructor Roberto was excellent. He was patient with me being a beginner and of older age. Roberto at the beginning of each day’s lesson, gave me new tasks to work on each day. Having multiple days of surf lessons was very beneficial to me. Giving me a base to work with in the future. I highly recommend WildMex for anyone wanting to learn to surf or just improve on your skills. Yetta Rushford2025-01-16Trustindex verifica que la fuente original de la reseña sea Google. Johnathan was amazing, gave me a few tips to help me ride a really nice breaker. Loved it! Chad Petersen2025-01-09Trustindex verifica que la fuente original de la reseña sea Google. Was a fun day. The guides were friendly and helpful. Just know that by the end you will probably get up on a surf board. But not know the etiquette of surfing. I don't feel like I could go out on my own after a lesson. Not due to the lack of ability to get up without a guide. But there was no lesson on how to pick location. Or who has what wave so you don't run into other people. Bring shoes that you can walk in with sandy feet. It's about a ten minute hike down to the water. Bring NOTHING with you down to the beach. Leave it all at the rental facility. It's just extra weight to carry. You'll be in the water the entire time. I didn't use my camera or towel. And having my hands free would have been much more worthwhile while carrying the surfboard back up the hill.Verificado por: TrustindexLa insignia verificada de Trustindex es el símbolo universal de confianza. Grab your wetsuit, let’s hit the waves!

Like thinking the water is cold, many assume winter surfing Mexico is full of stormy waves and powerful currents. This is also SO not true. Winter storms aren’t on our checklist down at the local lineup!
Throughout the cooler months, Punta de Mita’s North Winds and North Swells wrap around the breathtaking coastline, leaving the area offshore or side offshore. In layman’s terms, the waves are smooth, organized, and IDEAL for surfers of all levels.
Think. How would it feel to escape your dark and dreary 9-5? Are you sick of rain and crowded 6 pm lineups? Would you swap your office attire for a board? If so, this might be the place just for you!

Beating the Cold By Surfing in Mexico in Winter

The best places to surf in March have to include plenty of sun! Though this season is cold in some countries, we’re lucky to have lots of rays and warm water temps 24°C (75°F), the perfect winter escape!
Many surfers opt for boardies or a bikini, but if you’re not used to these water temperatures you can bring your own wetsuit top—or even rent one here at Wild Mex!
If you’re interested in an extra layer, our top recommendation for surfing in Mexico in winter is a rashy or wetsuit top. Not only do these picks make you look extra gnarly, but they’re ideal if you’re interested in a protective layer from the sun or wind, and add grip between you and your board when you’re paddling for the waves!
We’ve got your surfin’ needs covered!
